Role overview

As a full time Floor Technician at our premium food and beverage trailer manufacturing company, your role will be multifaceted and dynamic. We are a small company and looking for someone who is ready and happy to fill different roles. If you are looking for a workplace where every day you might be doing something different while helping us build beautiful F&B trailers, you are the right candidate. 

This position reports directly to the Chief of Engineering & Manufacturing.

Requirements

Your daily activities will be in various areas relating to building Premium F&B trailers. Skills in Electrical, Plumbing, Welding, Vinyl Wrapping, or CAD are preferred but not required. Experience in manufacturing is desired, but not a must. Opportunities to learn these skills will be available to you on the job. Other important accountabilities include:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Communicate and work well with co-workers and management
  • Maintain a positive attitude when working under pressure
  • Sustain good relationships with customers and potential clients (including internal customer – sales)
  • Organize and care for shop tooling and equipment
  • Collaborate with the team to maximize the productivity of the shop
  • Help teach trade skills to co-workers
  • Encourage and embody an attitude of continuous improvement

In the year 2 and thereafter, the number of personal time-off increases to 80 days per 12-month period – this is in addition to Paid holidays.
  • Sick Leave: Receive forty (40) hours of sick leave annually, prorated to your start date, for full-time employees.
